Usergroups and Site Updates

Like the title says we have some usergroup information that will help you out as you progress through anime reflections. And we have some other site updates to post as well so lets get started with our first order of business the usergroups.

The New Groups

As you can see we have new usergroups and alot of these can be reached by being an active part of our community. Some not so much So lets start with those shall we?

Owners

Well I think this group is self explanatory myself and ewnw4fvr are the only wones in this group and it will stay that way

Administrators

This group will handle all the backing work sugh as member changes that only a member of the admin staff can do and bannings of members.

Super Moderators (Global Mods)

This group will have full mod abilities for all forums and other applications such as blogs, gallery, downloads, etc. They have the ability to alter your profile as they see fit if you are breaking any rules. They also have the power to ban you from the site aswell as any specific forum that you misbehave in.

Moderators (Single/mult forum mods)

This group will mod the forum that we (owner/admin) See fit or if they ask for a forum they think they would be good modding at. Thy can also ban you from their forum if you do not listen to their rules or the board guidelines.

The Elite (Trial Mods)

This is our trial mod group. They will be added to a forum they we see fit and will be monitored by our admin staff for activity and if they fallow the staff guidelines.

NOTICE All groups above this point can close open move and delete topics If you think you have been treated unfairly you can report abuse to myself or any of the admin staff if its a mod smod or elite member.

Legacy Member (Paid Membership $25USD /Gil Membership 50,000Gil /Poast 1500)

This group has UNLIMITED access to the gallery, blogs, downloads, and also has access to a legacy members area. This group also gets the ability to open and close their own topics.

Veteran Member (Paid membership $20USD /Gil Membership 10,000 /Posts 1000)

This usergroup has access to everything with some restrictions. you get 10 albums (for personal use) 2 blogs (hosted or linked) Full access to our gallery including the Ecchi section.

Otaku Member (Paid No Access to aMembership $15USD /Gil Membership 5,000 /Posts 500)

This group has limited access to our gallery (no ecchi) you have a 7 album limit and can only make 2 blogs (hosted or linked)

Community Member (Paid Membership $10USD /Posts 150)

Access to gallery downloads and blogs a limit of 5 albums 1 blog (hosted or linked)

Junior Member (Paid Membership $5USD /Posts 50)

This group has access to the gallery and downloads.

Members (No Paid membership needed)

Access to the forums and the ability to post on teh forums to work their way up the chain

Validading Members

Able to read and see forums and topics can't post untill email is validated

Banned Members

No access to anything because of rule breaking.

All usergroups above will get more fetures added to them in due time as soon as we get more active community.

This app has been disabled due to its not compatible with the board as of right now. I am working on getting the new version of the script.

About Donations and Paid Memberships.

All money collected via the paid membershipts and donations will goto the upkeep of the community. Donationg members will be added to a group thet they donate money to

Anime Reflections NewsLetter

Hello Everyone

Well its that time of the month again. I know I haven't sent out that many emails this year but whats going on on AR now is AMAZING! I was able to get our old domain name back For those old Anime Reflections members you might remember http://www.animereflections.net Well its back. We have gone through alot of changes and we miss all of your old members and would love to see you all back and posting. We have upgraded the board and hope that in the next few weeks I can have a nice theme up and hopefuly get everyting back up and working. We have alot of cool new features and they will be talked about in the news letter as we progress onward. I would like to announce that we are offering a hosing plan for those that want one. I am going to start with a FREE hosting and go from there. If you want a domain name you can eather purchase it yourself or I can set you up with your domain name. As far as the board goes like I said earlier we have upgraded and purchased a few new apps for the board. Without futher adu lets talk about whats NEW!!

AR Plaza
Lets talk about AR plaza for a minute. AR Plaza is our points system, With this points system you can modify your account or play a practical joke on your friends. you earn points by posting, uploading to the download section, uploading to the gallery (Coming Soon), And posting blog entires. you can use your points how you see fit. For the GFX artiest and the resorce creator you have another advantage of earning points. You can sell your walls your renders even your brushs layouts and even graphic packs. How dose this work you ask? Well when you upload something to the gallery/downloads section of AR you get to set the ammount of points you want to get for that item. And the points you make can go towards shopping in the AR plaza. With the AR Plaza you can purchase a wide veriaty of stuff like

• Earn your way into an exclusive group that only you and the staff have control over. with a special forum and gallery/download category just for you!
  
• Change your friends Avatar or pin topics you think should be pinned. Color your topic titles and much more!The only way to find out what we have to offer for the AR plaza you will have to come and check it out!

Gallery
Ah the gallery! the main thing we started this site for. Here you can download wallpapers and renders scans avatars sigs and even show off your work! We are happy to see our gallery flurish with thall the content that you will be posting. and all the content that is yet to come. Earn your way to an exclusive gallery section where you and those just like you can download stuff from our exclusive member group set up just for the ones that donate, purchase a paid subscription or earn the points to purchase the group themselves. We are happy toat we are going to continue what we started with our gallery and we hope that you will help us out!

Downloads
Finding the right resorces can be a hassle. With our download section you can find things from Photoshop brushes, Textures, Add-ons, Render packs, Fonts, Website Layouts and much nuch more! For those that want to sell their products for real cash can do so thanks to our NEXUS app (coming soon) with our nexus app you can earn money to buy things in real life such as other resorces posted or spend the money how you want to spend it. You can also set up charging points for your downloads if you would like. or just have an all free resorce. We are still looking for ideas for our downloads section and we hope to hear from you to help us figure out what we need to do.

Blogs
Thats righe! Blogs! you can host your own onboard or link to your pwn persinal wordpress website. We offer blogs to everyong above the member status so those that have been at AR for quite awhile will get a chance to see the blogs in action. Earn points with your blog posting and commenting.

Whats Next for AR
Only time will tell what will happein with AR and you being a part of AR's future is a hopeful venture. I am hoptiong to get alot of work done with your help. With that in mind I would like to thank those that have supported us over the years and for those members they have earned 2,000 points and have already been added to our exclusive group if they aren't already on sthe staff

Some Site Updates 6/16/2011

Welcome Back!



Hello Everyone! We are happy to announce that Anime Reflections has RETURNED! This time for good. We are working on a sister site called Otaku-World. This will be our Social Networking website for anime lovers alike and those that would like to learn more about anime. On our AR community though we are working on getting everything back together. We are currently working on the gallery and the downloads system. If you have any suggestions for the gallery or download section you can PM a member of staff and we will talk about it.



We would like to apologize for any issues you have been having. We would like to keep all you guys posting and happy so If you know anyone that would like to come to a community with a warm and friendly staff tell them about AR.

New Stuff

We have some new stuff!
Well as a lot of you have noticed we have fixed the skin. This means we are back to the skin we started with YAY!!! We are also happy to announce that we now have the updated version of the gallery. You can now create your own albums to post your work in. So lets talk about some of the other new stuff we have



Facebook Like Page
We now have a facebook like page you can find a link to it on the front page and we will be adding a facebook button here on the forum index page.



Twitter
We have had a twitter page when the site got started but you can now follow us on twitter. Link to that can also be found on the main page.



Tutorials Section
a few members here might notice that a few of their tutorials from another website have been posted in our Tutorials Section. This is because they were posted here before and I thought it would be nice to add their tutorials to AR. They are the authors of their tutorials so its not like I took credit for the tutorials. You might also notice that the tutorial section has been revamped a bit. I have added a more stream line look to the tutorials view to make it more manageible.



Awards System
We are working on getting this back up and running. so we can start to give away awards to our members



AMVs Section
I have had a request for an AMV section here at AR. Well here ya go we now have a AMV section for you. You can now post your favorite AMVs or ones that you have created. All vids must be uploaded to Youtube for this to work.

Anime Reflections Newsletter

HAPPY NEW YEAR!



Introduction

Hello AR members I am happy to say we are starting a new forum basted newletter that will be posted here in the Bulletin Board forum and on the main page to keep those that actualy use the main page up to date on whats going on. We are happy to announce that we are looking for affiliates. we have a few here on the board and we will be adding them to the global view in the next few days. We are also are working on getting the community active So to continue this we are going to try and get as many affiliates with top sites such as Anime Wallpapers Anime Lyrics Anime Globe and dare I say it Anime Online. BUT we need your help to get the community active. invite your friends and anyone you know that wants to be apart of an active community.



Anime Reflections Blog

We are happy to introduce the blogs you can create your own blogs and talk about whats going on in your life. This is going to be a "Gold Member" and higher feature when we get active so I would suggest get your blogs now before its set to gold members only. you can also import your gallery stuff and twitter into the blog so have some fun with this feature



New Downloads System

We are still working on the categories if you have any ideas for what should be added you can send a PM to the GFX team members or admin staff of what you think we should add to the downloads area. We are also going to annnounce new staff members that have ben added to this team and other teams of our community.



Tutorial System

We are still working on this section as well if you can think of things to be added to this section you can let us know and then we can start having an active tutorials section.



The Gallery

We are working on getting the new gallery system for the board.so this should be updated with in the next week or so so that is another thing that is coming to the board..

Some Site Updates

Hello everyone Sorry to keep you waiting on some site updates but we finally have some. First off I would like to thank those that have been active the past few weeks I know we are getting close to the holidays and we here at AR would like to wish you and yours a happy holiday this year. As apart of the holiday celebration we would like to invite you to join our Anime Reflections Holiday Wall Contest As we move along with the updates a few notes you might of noticed that we have swiched back to the Invision Power Default skin. This is due to the new skin edits in a few new apps that we have added to the board. We are also prepairing our site for the new gallery set to come out before the end of the year. We have alot of work that needs to get done so I am asking those that have any graphic experence and/or website experence such as (admin mod Smod Staff) of any kind feel free to contact myself or ewnw4fvr or any of the other site stuaff to offer your assestence.



As far as updates go. we are happy to announce that our downloads section is now been updates to the latest version. This is one of the reasons that we are back on the invision power default theme. As you can see alot of the old apps that are not being used have been removed such as the member map web hosting and the chat. to make room for other apps that come our for the community. I am a lazy ass as most of you know and I haven't gotten around to creating my own theme for the community. So I hope by new years start I should have atleast a concept of what our new community skin will look like. As far as any more updates go we have none I have found a free jounal app that will help those that want a blog here on AR untill we get more active so you should see that breofre the end of this week. Below is a todo list that should be acomplished by the end of the year or by the start of the next year.

To continue the updates we are working on getting a new skin using the new IP.Board 3.1.3 template so bare with us as we do so.
